Welcome back to our blog hop – you are in for a double treat today from each of my blog guests…
Bea Lee, Beaquilter

Bea Lee is a friend that I met through my first years as an Island Batik Ambassador. We have actually met in person when I ventured into her neck of the woods for a quilting event….Bea designs beautiful quilts, writes tutorials for Electric Quilt, designs withthe AccuQuilt Go Cutter, and participates in a lot of blog hops. As a young mother I don’t know how she does it all.
Here’s the “double treat” from Bea today – she’s simultaneously hosting a blog hop of her own this week – so we have the privilege of catching up and joining her adventure this week also!.
Thanks Bea for working with the 2½” strips to showcase Vincent’s Garden!
Roseanne Nelson, Home Sewn By Us

I met Roseanne through a new bloggers group several years ago. She and her quilting buddy Sue are amazing quilters and bloggers – how they manage to get so much done truly baffles me, and they never disappoint. When I invited her to join me on this adventure I discovered that she and Paula Nelson are related! Who knew! It’s a small world after all… everybody sing!
Roseanne’s “double treat” today is she has written a pattern to go along with her use of the 10″ stacks featuring Vincent’s Garden. Not only that, but she’s offering it on her blog as a complimentary download!
Don’t Forget!!!

This is Karen Overton, The Quilt Rambler
Check back tomorrow for more inspiration from my quilting friends using the Precuts from Island Batik’s Vincent’s Garden!
Thank YOU so much, Karen! I am so appreciative to be included in this blog hop. Island Batik fabrics are a dream to work with – not only do the fabrics have a nice hand, but the colors are rich and intense. I LOVE them. I am also so pleased with how my quilt turned out! I love the secondary pattern and how the beauty in the precuts are highlighted. Not to mention it’s nice to snuggle underneath it, too. ~smile~ Roseanne
It’s a fabulous quilt to showcase these fabrics – thanks for hopping along!
Today’s quilts are super cute!
The creativity of quilters – who’d know the same fabric could inspire so many designs!
I love both quilts but the border on Beaquilter is wonderful
She’s a very creative lady!
Great hop so far. Look forward to each day
I have to say, I have been too! It’s amazing how the same fabric can come together in so many different art forms! Thanks for joining us!
Both quilts are awesome! I think a fat quarter bundle could make SEW many great projects!!
The possibilities are endless!
Great examples today–fairly traditional patchwork and a pretty modern looking geometric design. Lots of fun, and you can’t go wrong with these fun colors!
I think just about any quilt pattern or design would be stunning in these bright prints!
It’s amazing what you can create with these beautiful fabrics
I’m eager to see the quilts yet to be made as these fabrics are just beginning to hit the stores!
