I’m glad you are here – Let’s Talk Quilts!
Tis the season ~ Fall Quilt Market and the Houston International Quilt Festival kick off a busy month! Be sure to frequent the blog (or better yet subscribe) to keep up with all the happenings in and around The Quilt Rambler Studio!
Hi! I’m Karen E Overton, The Quilt Rambler. Thank you for visiting my website!
I invite you to spend a little time here to see the quilting passion we share – from the services I offer as a certified instructor with Deb Tucker’s Studio 180 Design, to my new patterns and soon to be operational online store for tools, patterns and fabric kits.
I’m a traveling teacher offering lectures and workshops to your guild, retreat center or quilting community.
In true rambler fashion, I love “talking quilts” through my blog where you will find stories about my adventures as an Island Batik Ambassador, travels to quilt shows and tours of quilt shops as well as my take on everyday experiences that generally involve quilting, God, and family! Oh, and a few tips and tricks of the trade thrown in the mix!
When I’m not quilting, designing, or teaching I’m in the middle of moving back home after Hurricane Harvey reconstruction (It’s taking much longer than anticipated). Due to this, my Longarm services and T-shirt quilts are suspended until the first of 2020. We will keep the website updated as to when we are again accepting customer quilts. Thank you for your continued patience! Good things are coming – it’s going to be sew much fun!
Exciting things are just around the bend! So stick around, let’s be quilting friends and Let’s Talk Quilts!
