Another day, another quilt. Actually two!
Thanks for joining us for Day 2 of the Vincent’s Garden Pre-Cuts Blog Hop, where my quilting friends have been challenged to create a quilt using either the 2 1/2″ strip or 10″ stack precuts of Vincent’s Garden in their creations of either an original design or a pattern.
Let’s jump right in and see what our quilters have made today using the newly released Vincent’s Garden Signature Collection for The Quilt Rambler by Kathy Engle of Island Batik.
Paula Nelson, Prairie Notion Quilt Shop
Paula wears many hats including Certified Instructor with Studio 180 Designs. It’s no surprise that she pulled out her favorite tools to construct this beautiful quilt. I love that she designs on graph paper! An excellent choice for using the colorful 2 1/2″ strip set. Amy is another member of our prestigious Certified Instructor with Studio 180 Design family. Also a quilt shop owner, Amy chose to work with a popular pre-cut friendly pattern to showcase the beautiful Vincent’s Garden collection. I love the stamp of approval rating by Rufus! Both of these quilts are wonderful. I think I may need that tool Paula used! LOL A fat quarter pack of these beautiful fabrics would make so many wonderful projects!
It’s the corner beam, the same tool I used in Lights Shine Bright, and of course it’s in my online store (grin)
