I’m so excited to share this, it’s been most difficult to keep under wraps until we had all the details of registration worked out! But I can finally say:
We are hosting a quilting cruise!!!!!
Recognize that fellow in the photo? No, not the one with the little kids but the one in the announcement (grin). Some of you will from my social media – he’s my little “brotha from another mother” Brian McCoy, my fellow certified instructor with Deb Tucker’s Studio 180 Design…and we’ve been cookin’ up this adventure for well over a year and a half now!
Meet My Fellow CI, Brian McCoy
Brian is the owner of Bolts & Quarter’s Quilt Shop in WV and he is making this same announcement today in his shop’s newsletter. Join me as I will be co-teaching with my fellow Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor, Karen Overton, The Quilt Rambler! Each of us have designed an exclusive quilt pattern available just for this cruise! And we’ve been working very hard behind the scenes to get everything set up and ready! We look forward to up to 90 quilters joining us as we set sail out of Galveston, TX aboard the Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas, embarking on 11/15/2020! As Certified Instructors trained by Deb Tucker herself, Karen and I are looking forward to helping you to learn how to use some of the Studio 180 Design Tools and Technique Sheets as you spend the 3 full days while at sea piecing our 2 unique and one-of-a-kind quilt patterns that we have designed just for you! When you’re not in class, enjoy a very relaxing vacation as we will be visiting Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Jamaica! So when you’re not at a show, enjoying many dining options, or shopping on the islands with your family & friends, you’re welcome to spend all your free time working on your projects in the classroom, the ship’s Conference Room, during our week-long Onboard Quilting Excursion! ™
