My Little Lion Judah

The Quilt Rambler on The Road has a new travel companion, Little Lion Judah

While on the road to North Carolina last week for Deb Tucker’s Certified Instructor Retreat we picked up a little hitchhiker. Meet my new traveling companion, Little Lion Judah.

Oh, The Places You Will Go!

Little Lion Judah experienced his first snow in Tennessee

Do you remember “Where’s Waldo?” or “Where in the World is Carman Sandiego?” – yep! You guessed it – Little Lion Judah has decided he’s going to be a road warrior and travel with The Quilt Rambler on The Road as a roaring reporter!

While he’s had a great start on his journey from North Carolina to Texas seeing all the different topography and weather patterns, he’s really more into visiting with quilters and quilt related events.

It was a little frightening with the log truck passed the Ramblin Roaster on a mountain pass

Little Lion Judah crosses the ship channel bridge in Houston and wasn’t a bit nervous

And of course, this rambler has quilt stories to tell about the recent road trip but tonight  I just wanted to introduce you to my new traveling companion.

Tomorrow our new little roaring reporter will share the celebrations of National Quilting Day on the Quilt Story Saturday blog – so stay tuned!

This is Karen Overton, The Quilt Rambler, with my new road warrior, Little Lion Judah

My daughter goes to school in the UK, she travels around when she can taking two traveling buddies named sterling and doune, they are dragons from sterling castle and doune castle. So much fun !

I’m so glad the verse encouraged you! Thanks for sharing about Sterling and Doune – it is fun to be brave enough to have fun (and be a little silly) ????????

I don’t know what it is about road trips and mascots. I think it makes the trip more fun! We traveled for years with a little stuffed longhorn named–you guessed it–Bevo. He appeared in countless photos, especially looking out the windshield at where we were going. On last year’s trek to Bar Harbor I dropped him somewhere along the riverfront in Nashville. We searched and searched, but I guess he had adventures of his own to go on. We picked up a new little mascot in Bar Harbor. Now we travel with Morley Moose. He’s also a favorite car seat companion for the grands. I hope you have grand adventures with Judah!
