Little Lion Judah loves going to quilt shops and this weekend the little roaring reporter helped celebrate the grand opening of TEO’s Treasure’s Quilt shop in our “hometown” of Bacliff. Don’t let the front of this quaint cottage fool you, there’s room after room of delightful treasures…take a look around…
Hidden Treasures in TEO’s Treasures Quilt Shop
The multiple rooms design of the shop lends itself to intimate studious shopping. Katie and I found it delightful to wander from one location to the next to be able to seriously feel at home to take our time looking at all the treasures. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy without feeling stuffy or old-fashioned. The fabric selection was everything from Tula Pink to 1930’s reproduction, including my favorites – batiks! And the notion room and notion wall! Simply fabulous.
I have to add a little side note here…several weeks ago I was searching online for the nearest Aurifil thread dealer and that’s how I found TEO’s Treasures Quilt Shop! Who knew she was only a few blocks east of my street! It’s going to be sew much fun (and so dangerous) to have a quilt shop almost “right next door.”
TEO’s Treasures Quilt Shop is celebrating their grand opening April 6 and April 7 – including door prizes! Of which I won one thank you very much! You can find out more by visiting their website or finding the shop on Facebook. While there be sure and sign up for the newsletter and take a look at the class schedule.
This is Karen Overton, The Quilt Rambler, along with Little Lion Judah (and Katie) with our recommendations that you visit TEO’s Treasures Quilt Shop In Bacliff.
